I don't think you can get it predistressed no, unfortunately. I also get the impression it's quite hard to distress too, due to being pretty durable, but I haven't actually tried. Horsehide is really soft, but it's also heavy. I prefer the horsehide, in that it feels durable, and a real adventurer's jacket, if that makes sense, but the lambskin is more accurate.
