Re: On a boot budget? Skechers close enough...

Spotted this pair of close enough booties at a local vintage clothing store. They might still be there if anyone is interested.

Re: Coyle's "Outdoorsman's" Boots

I had my Coyles boots re-soled at the weekend and as I was inspecting the outstanding work my cobbler had made, I noticed the brand of the new soles:

Re: Delivery from Todd's to the UK - possible problem

Almost sounds like it was an attempted delivery to the wrong address, try contacting your local Parcelforce depot to see if they have the package as they handle international packages this end.

Re: My ToD Arrived!

I visited Wested today to return a jacket and meet Peter, it was an unusual experience - after reading this forum for so long, the people here kind of feel like characters in a favourite book or soap. So to see the barn and meet a name from the boards was like stepping into the screen. Whilst ...

I find that the fit of my size 9 Red Wings are a bit roomy and they tend to rattle around on my feet, whereas the Coyles size 9's (marked 11's) are a perfect fit with a little room at the toe. However the Red Wings may be designed to be worn with thick socks, seeing as how they are work boots. so th...

Anyone received their medium shirt yet, and care to comment on the fit?

Still waiting for mine - the tracker says it was shipped on the 16th and last scanned in LA on the 18th - not too worried yet as I'm in the UK, but can anyone testify as to how long items can take to arrive ?

cheers

I do have a size smaller on the way, which is why I'm okay with messing about with the one pictured.
This very artistic photo is exactly how I hope my medium will look on me when it arrives. I wouldn't change them at all.

I picked up a pair of Redwings in the summer sales (1/3 off!!) and these have the moc toe. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z234/baddates/Picture032.jpg although they do resemble the Alden boots, the stitching is raised, which I think prevents them from creasing in the same way. Solid boots though...
