I'm pretty sure these are brand new. I have a friend at Orvis who knew the instant he saw me in my 405s that I was a gear-head. He forwarded the link to me earlier this week.

My shoes are likely from that same batch as I got mine towards the end of March. I always thought it was part of the infamous issue of the tongues requiring a stitch to hold them in place.

But there is a noticeable tilt to the tongue on only the right boot, the left boot doesn't suffer at all.

The "front" and "back" measurements were taken from different spots. The Back was taken from the top of the collar, whereas the front was taken from the top of the storm flap. So they will differ quite a bit. My jacket is supposedly the 80's fit, as it tapers nicely to the waist....

I wear a 32/33 (more to a 33), but if you get the sleeves as factory it should be perfect. Depends on if you're accounting for the "elbow wrinkling." I think if I had requested a 24.75 sleeve or "shy 25" it would be perfect for allowances. But as I just got it about 3 weeks ago, ...
