Can anyone comment on the durability of the Nowak goat vs cow? I am thinking about going for the goat once the funds are available, but I have seen some great pics of the cow and heard reports that it seems very durable. I've read here that the difference between an 8 plait and a 12 plait have to do with flexibility. Is it harder to crack an 8 plait, 8 foot whip than a 12 plait, 8 ft. whip?

I have a Wested Raiders lamb and have noticed that there is a tear at the bottom of the pocket where it meets the body of the jacket. Has this happened to anyone else and if so, can it be repaired easy enough?
