Wested pocket tear

Post by indiana745 »

I have a Wested Raiders lamb and have noticed that there is a tear at the bottom of the pocket where it meets the body of the jacket. Has this happened to anyone else and if so, can it be repaired easy enough?

It's happend to me on two different jackets. Wested needs to make those handwarmer pocket openings bigger for those of us with big paws. Although ... the problem seems to be minimized with the most recent mods.

Same thing happened to HJS....he just took it into a seamstress, and she fixed it right up.

This has happened to my LC goat. The stiching is the issue, not the leather; it should not be a problem to sew right back up. I was looking at it the other day, and contemplated not getting it fixed. . .the frayed pocked makes it look used and worn. However, it will only get worse.

Small potatoes, really; the rest of the jacket is top notch.
