Another data point, I have a G&B 48 long. It fits but is more of a military fit. I want my indy jacket to be a little looser. I may just go with a G&B 50L or 52L if they would make one that big. I'm just afraid of it getting too long.

Actually there is one more measurement that is critical and that is arch length. The Alden 405 is an orthopedic shoe. Your arch has to line up correctly or it will not be comfortable. I stopped off at Alden's in DC today and dropped off my boots. They said they would have them converted to 11 1/2 at the factory and ship them back to my house. Sure hope it works. It is being done free of charge. Can't beat that.
