raven bar

Red Dust, Hey my AB has the Raven Bar Bash, and No it is not tapered. Sorry. . . I don't have a digital camera, so I don't have picks to post. Let me say; however, that I think the Raven Bar Bash is just the best way to go (in my opinion). Although many really seem to love the Streets of Cairo Bash,...

haircuts

I am with Fedora on this. I wear a taper and get my ears lowered twice a month. . . never do have "hat hair/head."

Now, if I could find a fifty cent haircut ($7 the cheapest around here) I would probably up it to three times a month!

turn

I agree with jpenman. I think the turn would work with either shape (long or regular oval). In my un-expert opinion, I think you may need to turn it less, but again, I am in total agreement. . . talk to Steve about this. I would definitely advocate getting the turn though. When I ordered my AB I wen...

oval

Russ, It is my understanding from talking with Fedora that YES a more long oval head shape may accentuate the "swoop" in a regular oval hat; however, I think he may have posted something recently which showed a possible taper in back under the same condition. . . Fedora is the one to ask f...

reg or long oval

Here is something Fedora e-mailed to me when I was trying to decide on the shape. differential=front to back, minus side to side measurements The reg oval is 1 3/8 differential, the long 1 3/4. If you have a well worn hat, you may check this differential there. . . or something I tried with varying ...

turn

Read the discussion about the turn and wanted to chime in. I wasn't sure about the turn at first when I was ordering my AB. I was a little concerned it would feel strange, but Fedora convinced me to try it. Boy am I glad! :D For me at least it feels perfectly normal and plenty comfortable. My hat wa...

Kaleponi Craig,
That certainly is a nice display. Tell me, what is at the end of the support piece underneath the hats themselves?

Yes, thanks JPenman. . . I know your right!

IndyTaz, about the height/proportion. . . Steve is definitely the expert. I would go ahead and ask him about it. He certainly was extremely patient & helpful with me. . . and did ever ask him a ton of questions!

Hello IndyTaz.
I am new to COW. Only my 2nd post. Not much seeming to be going on over there with Bertie & Jeeves. . . Anyway, I just ordered my 1st Adventurebilt, too! Can hardly wait. I went with the Raven Bar look, beaver.

Ordered my Adventurebilt

Hello all. I am a brand new member & this is my very first posting. Thought I'd like to say I just ordered an Adventurebilt and I am very excited. Also, I think Jeeves and Wooster was a hilarious show and come to think of it that hat does look familiar. Maybe I should have ordered the "Jeev...
