There are about 5 scenes where you get a clear glimpse of the holster's design. I believe it was an authentic Webley holster from 1918. These screen grabs will not surface until the DVD is released. Based on my own research, I believe the holster was of a specific design delegated to several makers....

Temple of Doom FOREVER!

I haven't posted much in the past year and half, or so. For a few reasons. First, I'm only focused on the Temple of Doom, which is the least liked of all three films. Secondly, because I've obtained all the gear I've ever wanted. Other than making adjustments to and distressing my current gear, I'm ...

The closest thing you're going to get to a TOD jacket is a custom Wested. Check out the TOD specs at www.indygear.com. I've own a US Wings antique lamb jacket, and here's my brief impression: -Extremely good production quality -The most rugged and durable Indy jacket you can buy -The leather is too ...

Dying my Webley Holster

I've gotten a hold of a beautiful Webley holster from 1918. The leather is soft and flowing. Unibelieveable how old this thing is and still be in such pristine condition. The color is very similar to the Raiders holster. However, it's the perfect shape, size, and design for a TOD. I plan on dying it...

Aldens in NY is located along a strip of shopping just down the street of Grand Central station (i've forgotten what street). A lot of celebrities shop there such as Brice Willis and Harrson Ford. They have the shoe in stock and would be happy to fit you. Just remember, that's a high-roller's shoe s...

Another good shot of the boots are in Temple of Doom. Right after Indy hangs his assassin with his whip, he ducks below the hanging body to get to Willie's room. The shot focuses very well on his boots as he runs, and yes, they are reddish with orange distress. It's all about lighting. Hopefully, so...

Hey be nice! I was visiting New York, and ran out of dark socks by the time we made it to Alden. Regardless, I had jeans on that covered the socks unless I actually pulled the leg up. Anyway, I'm off to the store now to get some good quality black socks for my Halloween Indygear, and thick cotton so...

Yes, my Aldens looked exactly like the store model when I purchased them. The current look on them is the result of many risky treatements and restorations. Generally, what I did was dyed the shoes a dark brown, then acetoned them. I also did a few things to tone down the orange color of the leather...

Re-dying NH Temple of Doom shirt ?

Does anyone here think that it's necessary to use Dalexs' re-dying technique to make NH's shirt accurate to Temple of Doom? Or, do you think it's original color is similar to what Indy wears in ToD?
