Re: The OTHER hats in Crystal Skull
Bernie used barons steamer to re-crease some hats, Thats it. Didn't the dude who runs Baron Hats try to claim that Bernie came to him in "a panic," needing HIM to "fix" a bunch of CS hats, thus leading to his (later found out to be erroneous) claims that he made some of the hats...

Re: The OTHER hats in Crystal Skull
I know that the stand in for Indy on the train scenes wore a hat made by Barons, because the guy called me and told me as much. I think he said it was also gray. Bernie did go to Barons to have Mark steam and put the popped out creases back into the hats, but Bernie had already given me the specs on...

It looks too small to me. A reworking of the bash could help some, but it still looks too small, especially on the profile shot. JMO. Hmmm... It's a little snug, but not too tight. In retrospect, I shouldve ordered a 59. But, how would a bigger size fix the issue? The shape and crown height are jus...

Re: Just got my first Indy fedora, and boy do I look dopey!
Yes, the screen specs will not work on everyone, unless you have Ford's facial shape, hat size and head shape. That is why off the shelf hats are not always pleasing, but do fit within many budgets. That is the trade off. Remember, Ford was fitted by a costume designer that made the hat to the specs...

So is there some kind of definite consensus on what to order from Christy's? Brim dimension-wise? I mean if I'm going for an Indy-style hat. I am trying to get up with my daughter so she can take the pics on my day off this week.
