Wife modeling Adventurebilt CS

Post by beaverlid »

My wife grabbed my fedora off my head and plopped it on hers and even though it did not fit her exactly, I thought she looked pretty good with it on. So we took a couple of shots with her wearing it. I thought we could create the most viewed thread in the history of COW, featuring our ladies wearing our fedoras. So hopefully some of you can post pictures of your lady in a fedora in this thread.

Great thread! Here's my best gal-pal Jaimee in Egypt back in July, wearing the Adventurebilt CS, Noel Howard shirt, and MK-VI satchel that I bought for her over the years (I like to spoil my friends). I told her that if she's going to travel the world like Indy, she has to do it in style. Besides, what kind of a friend would I be if I let her go abroad wearing a Stetson Temple or a paltry Dorfman Pacific? :TOH:

Whipwarrior,

Thanks for the post and the great picture. She certainly carries the fedora very well. She looks like a keeper and a dorfman just wouldn't cut it. ;)

This was my first Indy hat, picture taken about 1986. It is straw which I painted brown and put a ribbon on. The lady is a sculpture of my sweetie. We're still together. :H: Image

I think this is the best thread to date! All of these ladies are young enough to be my grandkids! And, I always loved ladies wearing fedoras. You old guys here recall that commercial that featured a lass wearing a fedora, as she sang, Hey Big Spender? Don't recall what the commercial was hocking, but the hat and the girl...were unforgetable.

Keep those pics a'coming. Fedora

Geert,

If you aren't otherwise spoken for, I would say what are you waiting for my friend, go after nina. She is a real looker, and you say friendly to boot, plus she digs fedoras. Sounds like a win, win to me... ;)

I think her boyfriend would object to that :P ;) That plus she lives abroad are some of the reasons why she's just a friend ;) . But she is darn pretty, isn't she?

I - uh - "misread" this at first. I swear I thought you'd asked about his wife's specs...

I got no beef somebody complimenting my wife. But if they follow with "C-cup?" Well, I would be fighting certain primal urges... :TOH:
Thanks, Kokopelli. I'll be sure to let her know. She has a long list of "fans."

The crown on that AB is 5 3/4'' and the brim is 3 1/8'' x 2 7/8''. Its the largest spec'd hat I have, but It looks just killer.

And _, I love it when guys (and sometimes gals) comepliment my wife. Don't ask me how I get her cause I can't explain it. But I have gotten into a couple of brawls with guys that have taken it too far. Most notably, one in the lobby of a hotel in Madrid a few years ago. He assumed as "Americanos" spoke no Spanish. Boy was he ever sorry. Had bad friends too as all they did was laugh as I tackled him to the grown and beat the daylights out of him. And not to brag, but c-cups are childs play in our house. ;) :TOH:
