I'm new here. I attended C2E2 con in Chicago back in March and decided to cosplay as Indiana Jones. I had decided to cosplay as Indy before the announcement about the 5th movie and was super excited when the news broke. I have an Indy Jacket and Hat from 25 years ago that I dug out of the closet. I was amazed how well they fit and how comfortable they still were. At C2E2 I was surprised to find a group of Indy cosplayers there and got to stand in front of their Ark for pictures! It was truly thrilling. I've decided to go all in and get additional gear. I recently purchased a Mk VI bag from What Price Glory, a web belt in Raiders brown from Todd's, and just ordered Azuma's Imdy shirt. Note, my jacket has a broken zipper pull and it's at a local shop for repair now.
Welcome! Hope you have a great stay here. You'll find a great bunch of folks here from every outskirts of the world. Although I disappear for months or even years sometimes, I always find my way back.
Great jacket! I remember seeing those at Disney when I was a teen and wanting one so badly. Heck, I still want one, but maybe less for the jacket and more for the cool label...
I remember vaguely that wested also offered jackets made in india or pakistan back in the day, their off the rack jackets. not sure if they do it these days. and not sure if they were any good.
Hello and welcome. I joined some months ago and it's a wealth of the most detailed information here. I have found it both fascinating and at times bewildering, but it's a friendly and helpful bunch.
That's a fine looking jacket you've got there. I've been saving for my first one. In fact, I think I may take the plunge today. So far I have gained the satchel, shirt, boots and trousers. All the best in your collecting

Yes they did in the past around 07/08 and IMO, they were not the best ones made on the market.
