Great Gear Elodie!
Welcome aboard! Don't worry about the English, most of us can't speak it either! Bink actually learned "English as a second language here!" It's true!...We're not sure what his first language was "but the way he writes" BTW...Great looking gear Elodie, I was just wondering what kind of whip that is, if you don't mind me asking? It's not one of Adam's Budget Indy's is it?
Warm Regards

You have quite an impressive gear collection, congratulations. Is this your first 'Indy' style fedora? When I first got my Peters Bros. custom Indy, I was happier than a kid in a candy store. What's it like to wear? I've never owned a Herbert Johnson fedora, so I'm just curious: is it comfortable? What sort of felt is it made out of? Anyway, thanks for the pics! You look very sharp in them
Welcome aboard, hope you enjoy your stay here @ Club Empty Wallet..er..Club Obi-Wan.

Strider

Welcome to COW Elodie. Great photos of the HJ! I like your other gear too. Don't worry about your English as long as we are communicating that's all that matters! If that doesn't work you can always dazzle them with a photo of you in your HJ.
That is a perfect point! I had never thought of that before, but kind of depressing if I am always compared to HF. I guess it's time to start working on my Temple bash!elodiejones wrote:

And me, still bothering the new folks with bag questions.
If you look inside the flap, are any of these markings around?
Also, if you look at the snaps and find an inscription that says: "Newey", it's a British one. If not, it could be Canadian or Australian.
Regards,
Swindiana

First you need to resize it to 100x100 pixels. Then upload it to your picture site. After that, right click your image and pick "properties" in order to copy the address for it. Head for your 'Profile' link and paste the image address where it says 'Link to off-site Avatar:'
That should do it.
Your image address would then be something like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v18/I ... avatar.jpg
HERE is a resized version of it.
Regards,
Swindiana

Canyon "lights my fire", like a freshly folded sweatband makes my head sweat. That's because she looks kinda like my wife. But Elodie- You do resemble Miriam! If you get a white dress like hers with a big lace flower in back, like in Raiders, .. "I would ver much like to see you in it!" (French accent) An HJ is a beautifull thing. combine 2 beauties and you get double beauty. Fashon hats for women never really went away for ladies like they did for men. Not that hats are all about fashon..there's sun protection and warmth, which is why they exist in the first place.
