I saw it, too!!! Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!!

I guess none of us learned a lesson from watching Raiders a few million times (or we can't resist clicking blind links). As an antidote for the horror, I had to buy one of these:

Okay, I actually ordered it yesterday, but still: Ahh... soothing relief!

$350. Is that what they pay YOU to wear it . . . or is that the fine imposed for doing so willingly? :-k

:rolling: I'd say wearing the hat alone is punishment enough.

Gaze at a screen-accurate fedora and find your happy place... forget about the horror we have witnessed. :P

I'm sorry guys, but I have to defend this hat. The ad says "Fold it, stick it in your pocket, and travel..." nowhere does it say to wear it. [-X

If you want a fedora to travel with... this is the one to get. If you want something to wear... not so much. :Dietrich:

It appears to function well as a portable garbage receptacle for car travel, probably what it's best suited for.

Can not argue with that logic.

Ok Mel Brooks, instead of space balls 2, we now need an Indy spoof with him wearing this lovely hat.

Even though I am the one guilty for posting this 'tragedy-of-a-hat' to this site, I agree, enough is enough -- but you have to admit, this thing is weird. However, one point -- you have to admit that Magnoli was correct too, and his comment says it all -- " The ad says "Fold it, stick it in your pocket, and travel..." nowhere does it say to wear it. I was only kidding. Actually, it's rather entertaining! I haven't had this much fun bashing a hat (no pun intended!) since the DP era! :D

Well...for once, DP's don't look soooo bad, after all :- ! Now, if that is not scarry  , then I don't know what is :-k ! And, you know the truly scary part about all of this; there are probably folks who have purchased this  ! W>

Yeah. Those poor misguided folks have no idea they can own a quality, screen-accurate lid for the same price. :?

Take it and bury it in the desert for a thousand years and somebody may consider it priceless. It certainly couldn't look any worse ! ;) ( I'm sorry, couldn't resist).

If it weren't for the price tag, with a little trimming, it might make a decent travel dog food bowl.

What's ironic is Worth and Worth was one of the premier hat sellers who sold 'close enough' high end felt fedoras for the hobby, specifically the "Allegro", and were linked to Indyfan.com back in the mid 90's.

What in the WORLD are they thinking now?!!!

Got me! I had an "Allegro" and it was a nice hat -- not really that much of an 'Indy', but darned nice hat. I am like you here, I cannot fathom, in my 'wildest of imaginations', what or where they are (attempting to) head(ing)! Got to admit -- it is truly of interest (in the most bizarre of senses) to see just what they will come up with next  , after all -- everyone needs a good shock or 'fright' moment from time-to-time and these certainly provide this for us :-s !
