Re: My new knife
Beautiful piece of gear, Bruce.
I'm a huge fan of the USMC fighting knife. It just oozes history.
The fact that they're still being made by two government contractors (Ontario and Ka-Bar) and carried in combat 70 years after their inception is a testament to the love affair with this knife. So much so that the military developed a standard-issue MOLLE adapter for the traditional leather sheath.

Re: My new knife
Nice knife. Inspired by the 'Give Indy a Knife' thread I picked up a Ka-Bar a while back. First time I pulled it out of my bag, my buddies said, "We're here to go fishing, not hunt bears!"
Wow, makes me want to go out and stab something.
Regards,
Indiana Jeff

Nice, Chris. May have to put this on my list. Best price I found was $178.56 shipped on Amazon:

I do love the nostalgia of a nice blade or tomahawk.

I need to pick up a Molle adapter since my backpack that I use at work has molle webbing.Cajunkraut wrote:Beautiful piece of gear, Bruce.
