I only said where I thought cassidy could look. you speak as if this site has an answer to everything. If it did, it probably would answer me about why you keep throwing out those 'smart ###' posts of yours. JMO
With Wested, its sort of up to the person. If you choose the thinner lamb hide, its better to get the rectangular loops, as they do not source the rectangular sliders. Possibly a cloth store near you might have the sliders, or as some spec. it: tri-glide strap adjusters.
I have always have had problems with the D rings slipping on a lamb jacket. lamb is a pretty limp skin and tends to slip. Horse, cow, goat works fine with D rings.
You may also try contacting Wested directly about getting sliders. They tried to send me some in the mail a couple of years ago but the envelope ripped and the sliders fell out. A member here graciously sent me a set.
Fourth from top.
I don't know if they sell retail.
(thanks to Heyjude7, who find them on feb'09)
Regards.-
Indiego, Thank you sooo much for posting that website.
I have been looking for sliders (or tri-glides) like that for the longest time!
Just bought 4 of them (never know when you might screw up the first set!) in nickel for my Wested Raiders.
Cassidy,
The easiest way I have found to install sliders with a center bar is to cut a small piece out of the center bar (just large enough for the leather to squeeze through). That way you don't have to cut or unstitch the leather loop to get them on.

Just like the ones Wested has.
But in terms of SA (please, somebody correct me if I'm wrong) tri-bar slides in black is the way to go. The original Raiders jacket examined by TN had those...right?
