Agreed!! I love this leather. By far and away, my favorite leather from any leather jacket I have owned (6 so far). It makes me wish I could order a made-to-measure jacket in this cowhide. It is so awesome. There are a few places where the leather has more of a darker, glossier finish to it, and incredible grain. I love it. I hope the calf skin Raiders is this nice!Indiana Holt wrote: this leather is really something else. I have never seen, felt or smelled such a wonderfull cowhide before. it is the best!!
even though it may not be 100% SA to raiders,..... this HERO jacket is oh so Indy!!!!
I don't know for sure But I do know that I made 12 size Large Hero Cow with longer arms.. I think I will ship them out next week.. .Tundrarider wrote:Hi Sarge, I originally posted this in the Lambskin thread, so I figured I'd post it here since the question is about this jacket.
Thanks!
Hi Sarge, Do you have any of the Large COW Hero jackets with longer arms still available with snaps?Sgt. wrote:plus we did make 12 size Large Hero Cow with extra long arms and we did some with and without Snaps..
Thanks!

I honestly hear that from a lot of people worldwide.. Holt will model the Raiders Neil Cooper and US Wings Jacket when it is released for the First time!!whipcracker wrote:I know there are some great pics on Wings web site! Would that we all could look as good as Holt and the others in our gear!
I guess you have to know a little more about Me!!I love Indy Gear and all the members. I went into the US Military after High School and yes was in Combat when I was an old man to some 28 years old.. spent one year in the Hosp. from combact wounds!! and missed out on a lot of my child hood.. lost my first Wife while I was off in the USCG when only a very young man to come home and found her Dead.... I have alweys felt there is a little Indy in all of us..Keep in Mind I am now 70 years old and have turned the clock over many times.. If I can help those with the true feeling I will.. Again never and I mean never forget your dreams.Mitch LaRue wrote:Sarge, it goes without saying that we're lucky to have you, but I'm sure you'll agree that you got a bit LUCKY yourself with so many great Indy-jacket-models to choose from right here in our "amateur" ranks!
You've got a great group of familiar faces on your U.S. Wings webpages! And they look FANTASTIC in those amazing jackets!
Yes.. We ask the Fans and they wanted 1 1/2 inch in the sleeves.. With that said.. Please read this thread close.. I will still send out a free UPS pick up for any exchange for COW members only... Free shipping is over at 2400 hours tonight plus the free belt.. We will pay for one exchange and I will still offer a 50 % discount for COW members only for all oders sent out side the USA.. ( International Orders) Members must tell Myke via e-mail at myke@uswings.com... If there is a problem or misunderstanding Please let USW know about it First.backstagejack wrote:Anyone know how much more length the Long sizes give on the sleeves?
I sent my small back in because it was too short in the sleeves and a tiny bit tight in the back of the shoulders. But I'm worried that the Medium might wind up too large on me. Now I see that Small Long sizes are available....
Amen that goes without saying for any Vendor and or Friend!Indydawg wrote:There is NO problem that can't be fixed to satisfaction if it is taken to Myke and Sarge first, folks.....just take the problems to them first.

You know I carry a 1911 Colt ! Always have and always will ! You will have no problem as long as you come under HR 43 and or CC Lic. and or Active Duty Police officer! You will be okay in our Indy Jacket. Don't think I would run around carrying a 1911 Halloween Night!!DoubleOhSeven wrote:Yep, okay, I've seen enough.
Ordering one soonest.
(Like I need ONE more jacket........)
But, what, wait...isn't Halloween coming up soon? Seems my other half said something about us having a costume party.......
Hey, Sarge, I remember once you told me in an email that you carried. When off-duty (are we really ever???) I carry a 1911 in an inside the waist holster. Does this jacket conceal pretty well around the beltline?
Thanks, Sarge!Sgt. wrote:You know I carry a 1911 Colt ! Always have and always will ! You will have no problem as long as you come under HR 43 and or CC Lic. and or Active Duty Police officer! You will be okay in our Indy Jacket. Don't think I would run around carrying a 1911 Halloween Night!!

BTW... I thought we were getting a shipment of Indy Hero Cow and Lightweight Lamb this week... Looks like next Wed.DoubleOhSeven wrote:Thanks, Sarge!Sgt. wrote:You know I carry a 1911 Colt ! I've had no troubles so far with carrying under HR 43. Most officers I've encountered in other jurisdictions, after finding out I'm a cop, too, ask something like "So what're you carrying?".
And you are right, no carrying the 1911 on Halloween. Wouldn't be the Indy thing to do anyway.
Jacket order on the way!

FYI.. We have another truck load in two weeks or less.. BTW I went over all the jackets that went out today and all I can say is WOW!!!scot2525 wrote:binkmeisterRick wrote:I just got my UPS tracking number!
Thats great news Bink! Make sure you get a few pictures posted asap, especially a back length photo.
So does that mean that if we didn't get a tracking number today, it'll be another 1-2 weeks? Not that I need a jacket in this super-humid 90 degree weather, but still.Sgt. wrote:FYI.. Yes Sir Michaelson as you ask.. some had snaps!!
Sarge
But of course I do!binkmeisterRick wrote:Scot, you just want to look at my backside, don't you?
PAS, mine is a small without snaps.
Soooo, by my amazing deductive reasoning, that means I should have got mine first, because I'm bigger than you and could totally beat you up on the playground?binkmeisterRick wrote:PAS, mine is a small without snaps.
YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!binkmeisterRick wrote:Excellent, TS! Mine's on the truck for delivery today!
