That's really nice. I don't know what it is, but, even though I like several other maker's jackets a lot, I get the best feeling when I slip on a Wings.

It is a very heavy and strong jacket..I am not afraid of wearing it or tearing it up. The lambskin would have been nice for SA...but this looks great! It also appears to be very dark in lower light conditions...but I guess that is normal.

You can't beat the Wings jackets. What they lack in finesse the make up for in plain old wearablility! Yours looks great.

Now all that's left is to wear the #### out of it. I say that as a joke, but it's really the truth. A jacket like that really needs to be worn hard before it reaches its “sweet spot”. Fortunately when it does eventually reach the space of “second skin”, the Wings construction will mean that the jacket will not fall apart.

True, but I find the weak area is the satin lining in ALL coats that have it. Just about the time you get the jacket looking right, the liner needs to be replaced, generally at about $100. The heavy cotton liner in my A2 looks like it will outlast me, while the satin liner in my Wested already needs repair after only light use.
This particular USW is probably the best-looking one I've seen. Much better than the 'blue label' I recently tried. The collar in particular doesn't look as big and thick, and the leather/color is definitely worth the extra money.
