I had an old "flight jacket circa 1987 that I purchased new. It was neither an Indy jacket nor an A-2 but served me well until I could find the real things.
I kept it not out of sentiment, but with the idea that it could be "frankenstiened" into a great kids play jacket. I chopped it up, shortening the sleeves and removing the elastic waist. I plan on re-sizing and re-positioning the pockets so I can shorten it further, but it's good enough for the premier on the 22nd. After that it will join the box of play clothes!

148 views and only one response. I was thinking it can't be that bad.
Or maybe just uninteresting.
Here's a pic of the jacket at the theatre.
