I'm just taking a well earned break! I've stopped taking on any fresh orders for the moment because I don't like having long lead times. As soon as the lead time exceeds 6 weeks, I put the brakes on.
I'll be accepting new orders before long.
Thanks for all the kind words

- Harry, i'm glad you like your whip and I hope you enjoy cracking it. Don't be too worried about the weather, it's not that fragile! I use my whips in snow, rain and mud if need be. If they get a bit damp I let them dry gradually in a nice big loose coil and apply a littel Pecards.
Until recently I had an 8ft that nobody else wanted because I put an excessive taper in the handle. I decided to use and abuse that whip mecilessly to see how tough my whips were. I cracked it on gravel, did wraps on fences and then pulled myself up steep slopes with it - all the sorts of things you generally don't do - and it didn't bother the whip at all. It got a little scuffed and I had to clean it often, but it was able to take a beating. I'm not saying anyone should abuse their whips - but don't treat them like porcelain either - at least not mine.
