Fleece, polyfill, thinsulate and down are insulators. The two are good products and effective for warmth w...

I received one for Christmas, and it is roomy. However, in my case I have been wearing it as a coat. Sometimes with just a shirt, and sometimes with a tshirt and a sweater. I do not intend wearing one under a jacket or a coat

If you take the word of someone who does not know much about hats, I will save the money and try to get a better hat than the official 50$ movie replica. You will not regret it.

Re: Indy fedora same stigma?

I don't usually wear hats when it is warm outside. In the fall, winter, spring I usually wear Irish tweed flat caps, which I really enjoy. I ordered my first fedora a couple of months ago and I know I will feel strange wearing it at first, especially since not too many people in New England use them...

Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues.

John Penman's Adventurebilt "Legacy" fedora is a Raiders fedora. Although John will eventually make the Crystal Skulls fedora using the Adventurebilt block, I understand he will not be doing that until Steve Delk retires from the business completely.[/quote] So, John is making hats for two...

Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues.

So if I am not misunderstood, every AB fedora is a cristal skull fedora. Am I right? And if that is the case, that fedora is like a raiders and last crusade kind of combination hat?

Re: The Penman post 'em up Pages....The Adventure Continues.

It is a beautiful hat. However, for newbies like me, what is the difference between this hat and a regular Penman? :-k I mean, they are done by the same person.
Any clarifications will be appreciated :)
