do you zip it up and turn it inside out? How long do you run it for. I have to say, I was not a fan of the jacket before, but that is unbelievable

Re: Am I just blind? - airsoft...

google turns up a whole host of airsoft sites, but as a longtime airsofter, I guess I'll post some of the best links

www.airsoftgi.com
www.evike.com
www.shortyusa.com

internationally, search for ehobbyasia, gunnerairsoft. There's also redwolfarisoft.

coyles boots sizing troubles?

Hey everyone, I recently picked up a boatload of stuff from todd, and before I say anything else, I'll say that everything they say about these guys is true. Fantastic service, ridiculously fast shipping, and great products. However, along with my order I got a pair of size 11 boots, since I usually...

Re: USW Striated Lamb Legend, US Made

This jacket looks black from the pics though, where as all the indy jackets have been a dark brown right? Is this jacket actually a VERY dark brown? I know when black distresses it gets that grayish, where as brown will be a lighter brown, makes sense, but it means that as this leather distresses, i...

is this leather naked in that it's "washed" like the wested washed goat? Will it pick up scratches and such as easy as that offering?

Re: US wings, import quality?

Thanks for the reply. I knew the SL legend he had was US, I didn't know he had an antique cow legend though. I noticed the lack of legend threads on here, but I didn't realize he had the only two on the site. That's definitely the pattern I would want from what I had seen. Thanks for the reply. I'll...

US wings, import quality?

Ok, so I've seen a lot of talk on here about US wings, and their legend jacket in both the striated lamb and antiqued cow look awesome, but every time I see them discussed and admired, it's the US version. On the recent posting of Weston's striated lamb, the thread stated that the imported had a bad...

Re: Imported Or USA Made?

If the imported ones have issues, then I'll have to nix the US wings from my list, and go with wested. $600 is too much for a jacket, I don't care where it's made. And I am all about America. In fact, America not paying me enough is why $600 is too much for a jacket.

Final note before I release the floor, as I don't mean to triple post. But how do they get that wonderful dark color on all of the film jackets? I love the darker almost black brown with the weathered brown scratches.

Re: 2010 jacket updates

I gotta say though, as much as I look at all the leathers, I keep coming back to the washed goat. Thin enough for a good drape, but durable and distresses easily and beautifully. I mean, that's just a win win, or a win win win?

Re: 2010 jacket updates

yeah, I remember reading on another forum agent5 did a jacket breakdown, and said the imam jacket had the wider, squared off collar stand, as opposed to the hero's rounded one. So many tough decisions, I love both the raiders and last crusade look, and can't decide which I like more. The raider's na...

Ok, so I'm looking for a new jacket, and have been delving into the search function here to look up the various types. Ah....I see...I know what you are saying has been said, but the way you said it makes sense to me. So the density of the beaver is what really helps with all around toughness, which is why the henry is on top for factory, and the beaver handmade is on top. So then, how is the sweatband on the akubra...

how wet does a hat have to be to soak to the "core", since I have read in other threads once this happens, there's no helping it other than a reblock. What does this mean exactly?

Re: Durability vs. Comfort

I used to think that I only needed a couple of fedoras, and if truth be known, I probably do. But I have found that I really enjoy collecting these hats. From the custom offerings of John & Steve to the Henry and Fed IV, or from the Fed IV working up, you can't go wrong. I'm more of a one at a ...

oh and Michaelson, the thing about junkers is, they usually have got it where it counts. I did some crazy stuff in that teg, and it took a lot. But it started up everytime, and was recently sold, still running strong, even if the frame and suspension are a little out of whack ;)

I know the handmades are the end all be all knees of bees who reside in the cat's pajamas. But the wait time would be excruciating. From what I've been reading and hearing though, the Henry is probably the next best thing, and not by much.

If anyone's nose belongs in here, it would be yours. I think people get hung up on having such an investment in their hat, that they don't want to put it in harms way. Where as $100 hat is just below the realm of, ah #### it. I mean, if the fed IV gets trashed, they can buy two more before the Henry...
