Re: Hearing Protection?
Hey, 'selective' hearing loss can get you in trouble. I've been married a long time, and sometimes the 'tuning out' gets embarassing. I can literally 'tune her out', particularly if there's something else going on that I want to listen to. Then she says something like 'Shall I go ahead and put that...

Re: Hearing Protection?
I shot guns my entire young life without any protection. Then I had a 20 career playing live music in clubs. I've now got 60% hearing loss in both ears above 5k. Which means I can't hear high frequencies very well. Some women's voices are just a blur to me (which I actually don't mind in most cases...

Re: Indy has a Bomber Jacket too?
The jacket was made by Wested. Don't overstate the movie's impact - Ford was still second choice, and only then because he was doing carpenter work in the right place and at the right time... Hanover Street was not memorable. I would not even Red Box it for $0.99... JMO... This is not about the act...

Re: Indy has a Bomber Jacket too?
The film was made in 1979 (before Raiders)
Does this mean that George Lucas saw this film and got the idea of what Indy would look like ?
This film was set in WWII, so the uniform is pretty close to Indy's!

Yeah, just in case he finds himself in the exact same predicament with another tank! :-k When Indy rolls off the tank and grabs onto the turret you can clearly see that he is hanging on by his two arms (no strap can be seen). :-k Next shot the strap is clearly caught. Wow, the strap somehow managed ...
