I find my fed 4 to be a little more snug than what i would want it to be, but its nothing really worth complaining about. one good thing about it i suppose is it takes a pretty strong wind to take it off my head.

well, i do believe i've found a new way to soften up a fed 4. although i can take no credit for it. yesterday my hat fell from the coat rack and my dogs decide to play with it while i was taking a nap. from what i can tell there isn't any damage to the hat, but boy is it soft.

I ordered a penman recently, and i was curious how thick the felt is? now first, i understand that the thickness of the felt has nothing to do with the quality. but for me the thickness is important, because during the winter it can get pretty darn cold...
