Re: 1984 Stetson

Alas! It was all for not. Waited too long and someone else has snagged it. From what I recall this is what the lining looked like:

Re: 1984 Stetson

Thanks gentlemen for the info! I'll pop over to it and perhaps take a few photos and share them.

1984 Stetson

Hello all, I have an opportunity to grab a 1984 Stetson Temple in it's original box, my size, locally for about $40. My question is, is that a good deal? Are the hats more a collectors item than something you'd wear a lot? It appears to be in pristine condition. I'm more of a hat wearer than a colle...

Re: Hat ID help

Awesome! Thanks for the help guys. I'll probably wear it when the occasion calls for it, ie when wearing black, lol. It will replace a very stained and worn out black Selentino fedora I got 20 years ago.

Thanks again,

Shane

Hat ID help

Hello all, I wonder if you folks can help me ID this hat. I picked it up for $8 at a thrift store. After much googling I can't find any info on it. Re: A different spin on the bag

PsychicsAndSwords, Thank you so much for the quick reply! I'm handy with needle and thread, and I've been thinking of making something that resembles his bag. I've also got a pattern for trousers I want to try. I've been putting together an 30's era adventurer type kit, without trying to look exactl...

Re: A different spin on the bag

Hi all,

Normally I only lurk here, but, for a total noob, I'm interested in making a Indy inspired bag. Does anyone have rough dimensions for any of the bags used in the movies? Are they all roughly the same? How wide is the strap too? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

Thanks,

IndyShane
