Tony's attitude towards jackets also applied to everything else in life; beat the &:(@$;-! Outta the jacket and wear it proudly. To him, i think he felt he was living the dream. Only in America, as he always said.

Yes, i have to say after photographing many jackets, this leather was one of the hardest to capture. Depending on lighting, it can have so many variances. Smooth in one light, grainy with pebbling in other. Definitely matches the on screen jacket in several scenes!

Now that Riley has stated that there is light at the end of jacket tunnel, hopefully we will see more of this leather, maybe even with some striations but, for now, this will do!

Like I stated, I came in after this was done and had no knowledge about this until way after I had originally purchased it. Just verifying its pedigree in relation to the Kelso model. Without condoning or condemning, I am just showing how their pattern originated.

A couple of members have asked about my shirt and I have been meaning to do a posting on this. A couple of months ago, while browsing the clearence rack at my local Target, I found this shirt. On sale for $5.49. Yes, $5.49. It had metal buttons which I had to replace (you can still see them on the c...

The trick is, like many have said before, is just letting the jacket sit in the open air (preferably facing in full view of the sun) and to fabreeze it. I had one that the smell real bad. Took a solid 6 months of hanging it in the backyard everyday and fabreezing it. Now, the smell has COMPLETELY di...

A thicker leather may be more SA (yes, there is a whole debate going on right now in other threads) but I do think Todds did revise their pattern (although I am not entirely sure). I LOVE my 08 Tods. Ok, so...is Nowak Originals done? I've sent Riley emails to both of his addresses. Tried calling the phone number (some british sounding guy always wants me to leave a message) and nothing. The arnold classic is over. I wonder if Nowak Originals are just going to quietly step into the shadows?

[quote="whiskyman"]Glad you're enjoying your whip! But don't get the SL on my account - it's perhaps an acquired taste. Plus I think the difficulty in finding large enough pieces of hide for the back panels is what led to my jacket having a lower yoke seam. I could care less about that now...

it would seem to me that the yoke width would be proportional to the sizing/length of the jacket, just as _ states. The only way to verify the differences would be if we used HF size for each and every jacket compared...or, at the very least, the same size of every jacket compared.
