A wonderful picture.

Besides, didn't Lara Croft start out as royalty - Lady Croft?!

Cheers.

Had to chime in on this one folks. I agree. Affordable is relative term. People have different expectations for both the amount of money they want to spend and what they want in the quality of any specific product. Folks are also more or less swayed by dollar signs alone. The best we can do is strik...

Same question. The hat looks great and I am a huge fan of Tropicana orange juice.

Good in the morning or in the afternoon, out on the deck, with a little rum.

Someone should take a minute to contact Tropicana and inquire as to the availability of those great hat stands!

Chuckles!

Hi Lauren.

I'm not sure that "cute" is the appropriate description, but that's the word that comes to mind when I look at it.

Nice work.

I seem to remember them being available at Home Depot at one time.

I like it!

Hi Z.

The only reason the hat looks awkward is that your head is tilted to one side in the picture.

It honestly looks great. I find that it always takes a bit for me to get used to a new lid.

Enjoy the new hat.

Regards.

Kindred Spirit!

WalkingEye - Welcome to the Club. I was exactly where you are now a month or so ago and came to the same conclusion. Because of that, I am awaiting the Camptown Fieldmaster I ordered from Ken and, with a little more research still to do, I am leaning towards ordering a new jacket as well. Best regar...

What colour next?

Now that I've asked out loud, I am wondering what colour I would order a Federation in while I wait for my brown Fieldmaster.

Chime in if you have a mind to.

Cheers.

Thanks Aztec.

Revolvers..

In Dr. Jones shoes, I would probably carry a revolver. I agree with the choice of a Smith & Wesson.

I'm a wheelgun guy myself with both a Colt Trooper Mk III and a S & W Model 586 to my name. Both are beautiful, powerful and reliable!

Wested Indy Jacket - Experienced Advice Please

Howdy. Now that I have my order in for my Fieldmaster, I am beginning to look at a new leather jacket. It is a happy coincidence that I have a number of nice black leather ones, but nothing in brown. I would like to hear from those of you who have had experience in purchasing an Indy from Wested Lea...

Don't Change a Thing

Mal.

I am presently considering a Wested Indy jacket. I have just looked at the pictures you posted and, in my opinion, your new purchase fits perfectly.

I sincerely hope that, if I pick up a Wested, it looks as good as yours does.

Regards.

Anticipation

Although I really liked the pictures I'd seen of the Fieldmaster, it was my conversations with Ken that led me to choose him to make my first fedora.

He has cheerfully informed me that I am in the mix.

All I can do now is wait.

Cheers.

I'm new to the two forums but not new to politics messing things up. I'm sorry to hear that if that is the case. It would be nice to have all the hat makers I've read about be able to talk about the pieces they make and answer questions from members. That way we can all make a more informed decision...

It's Done - 1936 Fieldmaster

This is my first post on the forum and I thought it was fitting that I begin by announcing that, after doing a lot of reading here and at the F.L., I have placed an order for my very first fedora with Ken at Camptown Hats. I own a number of custom made cowboy hats that I wear to the range, but this ...
