It's Done - 1936 Fieldmaster
This is my first post on the forum and I thought it was fitting that I begin by announcing that, after doing a lot of reading here and at the F.L., I have placed an order for my very first fedora with Ken at Camptown Hats.
I own a number of custom made cowboy hats that I wear to the range, but this is my first of this style and I am very excited.
After hearing postive feedback on both forums, I am pleased to support Ken and his efforts to produce a quality product at a price we can live with.
I will keep you posted as things progress.
Cheers.

Amen to that
A person should be allowed the joy of making a living at that which makes them most happy.

That's Nasty!!
I'm new to the two forums but not new to politics messing things up. I'm sorry to hear that if that is the case.
It would be nice to have all the hat makers I've read about be able to talk about the pieces they make and answer questions from members.
That way we can all make a more informed decision. Sorta just makes sense. Doesn't it?
While doing my research, I read at least one post where Ken spoke very well of another makers work. That sounds like good sportsmanship to me.
Cheers.

Welcome to COW 79! And welcome to the Camptown Races! You're going to love what Ken is making for you. A super hat & a super guy to deal with. And like DR Ulloa said we want to do our best to get Ken out of the lawyer racket & into a permanent position as a hat maker.
Welcome & congratulations on your new purchase. Can't wait to see what you get & what you decide to do with it.
Cheers!
