I use a soft bristle tooth brush on my hat. Works great and is small enoung to get in the creases without distorting them. I broke the brush in pretty well in order to soften it up more, though.

My Adventurer crown sits at 5.35" with a tiny teardrop top. Any taller just does not look right on me, but it looks like 5.5" is very possible from it.

Thanks! Actually that's my re-bash. She had a much lower crown. It is at 5" tall now, and any taller doesn't look right on me. I think this works for me.

Canada, My "Official" Indy Hat has a full teardrop crown with a rounded rear. Not very official if you ask me...

I did put a small teardrop on my Akubra because I felt it went too high on my head, but it still has the pointed rear.
