Thanks for the tips.

I heard somewhere that his spam filter some times cleans more than it should. Which makes me wondering if, because I use hotmail, my emails were getting filtered out?

Did you try the Tandy leather factory? My sister goes to collage in lacombe and when I visited her last year I almost went to Edmonton just to go there. The stuff I'm using is pretty soft.
Where do you get this stuff? The paraffin wax I have is as hard, or harder than most candles.

I tried soaking White hide falls in melted pecards so that it could penetrate all the way through, I either left them in too long, or it was too hot because the falls came out hard, stiff and brittle.

I don't know what wax would do, this is just my $.02

I have made: 6 full sized roo bullwhips, 2 latigo bullwhips, 3 latigo stockwhips, 2 nylon bullwhips, 5 mini roo bullwhips, 1 cowhide mini bullwhip, and remade 2 vary cheep vary bad cowhide bullwhips. Bernardo, 2000 seems to mark a noticeable change in the David Morgan bullwhip. Well there was a lot people worried about y2k and that sort of thing, at that time. I haven't heard of any nylon whipmakers who don't use un-cored para-chord. :-k It's great to see that you like your whip and it does look great with the double diamond plait in two tone on the handle.

Thanks for all the kind words. The 6 footer cracks well although I think it needs more weight at the point, but other than that its a nice fluid whip. Congrats on making the little 3plait looking wristloop - I have yet to attempt that. believe it or not but those are 4 plait wristloops :oops: :D

Well I ordered a AB on Dec. 31 of 2007 and I haven't got it yet. I'm usually pretty patient but I'm going to Angola on the 7th of Jan. and I was wondering if there is any hope of getting it before then. [-o< Does any one know how the wait time is these days? :-k
