Is there any hope

Well I ordered a AB on Dec. 31 of 2007 and I haven't got it yet. I'm usually pretty patient but I'm going to Angola on the 7th of Jan. and I was wondering if there is any hope of getting it before then.

Does any one know how the wait time is these days?

I ordered mine Sept 07, and Oct 07, and still waiting, but not impatiently. I'm hoping to see my first one soon, but that would have been 15 months, so you may see yours Feb or March. But hey, you never know...half the fun is waiting and then coming home to find that perfect fedora at your door. If you're looking for a fast, and well made fedora, I'd try hatsdirect.com and get a federation IV, but be sure to check out their fed IV sizing chart before you order.

ST, I doubt that you will receive yours before January. I ordered in October, and as far as I know, Steve is working on the August orders right now (correct me if I'm wrong). Of course it's not impossible for your hat to arrive before your trip to Angola, but I'm afraid it's unlikely.

Yeah, don't hold your breath unless you're a really weird size. If you're anywhere near average (7 1/8. 7 1/4), then you'll be lucky to have it by March or April.

Do what I did. Pick up a Fed IV for the trip. You won't be disappointed!
