The knife also shows up in the spike chamber. On Short Round or Indy? Need to look that scene over Edit: Ok its SR knife. Spike room - When Indy tells Willy its a along story you see him hand SR a knife as he was using it to jimmy the spike room mechanism. Mods you can move this over to the other c...

TOD Knife

I was watching TOD tonight and I noticed this knife pop-up on screen. Its in the scene where Indy gets whipped. As the thuggee grabs his whip from the pile of Indy's gear up comes this knife. It seems to be a knife in Indy's possession,(or Short Rounds?) as it was wrapped up in Indy's gun belt. What...

Don't buy the 1" strap from Tandy, it's WAY too thick for a bag strap. I got some and it's almost 3/16" thick! It's too thick to even fold over onto itself. Thanks for the input. At $30.00 shipped and premade Todd's looks like a pretty good option. If I were to go ahead with a home made s...

I was looking at making my own strap using material from Tandys and it seemed to me, to be about as much as a strap from Todds. You have any advice to make one cheaper? Thanks

I wanted to share my finished whip after a bit more work. I wanted to modify it for a Young Indy LC look. So I did a red overlay on the handle and bound it under the THK. There's a lot of taper at the transition knot. But I like it. Now on to a 8' tan. :whip: http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff338...

I couldn't understand the THK until I found this tutorial. It was linked to in the thread over at the RPF. So I made the knot on my fingers then I slipped it over the whip and tightened it down. The one with the pins looks interesting I may need to give that a try. Im getting ready to start a 8' bro...

I love my A2. I got it from my grandfather who was in the Navy in WW2 (Pacific). This is a reproduction but I love the back label. It's what I am using as my Indy Jacket until I can get a SA. I've never looked up the brand name so I don't know much about it. http://i537.photobucket.com/albums/ff338/...

My first whip

Hello I wanted to share my 1st self made 6' bullwhip, made from nylon. All I could find locally was black for the body. I don't know much about making nylon whips, but you mentioned the butt is lead loaded. I've always heard that typically nylon whips have the thong loaded to make up for the nylon being lighter than leather. Is the thong also loaded or is the whip really butt heavy? Just curious? Hello all, Newby here. I've enjoyed reading your posts. I've picked up lots of good info to get my gear together. I've gotten some pants and an ordering a shirt from Cabela's to get started.
