They were the pumpkin color. I was not very happy with the color at first but luckily as i wore them it got better and better, now after polishing them the color is looking much better.

Yeah, I abused the #### out of them for 5 years then I got some Meltonian #11 medium brown. The color just keeps getting better, darkens them down really well.

Exactly what are you guys DOING in your jackets (or dare i ask)? My wings lamb is doing fine(minus the couple nail snags i got but they would happen regardless). I was in the "natural distressing" camp, but after about 8 years I was tired of the glossy look on my jacket. It had a few knicks and scratches here and there but I finally took a bit of sandpaper to it to knock the shine off of it. I like the way it turned out.

I beat the @#$% out of mine....crushed it, balled it up. It looks a lot better now, softens up the felt.

Good point Satipo, I like to keep a low profile anyway. Besides if any of the guys I worked with saw me dressed in all my gear at a movie....I'd never in a million years hear the end of it.

After the Atlanta show, a few groups of people wanted their picture taken with me, and in Macon, anyone dressed in costume took home some cool freebies (tee shirts and free movie passes). I agree with those guys, let life distress them. I used to work outside all the time crawling in dirt, climbing phone poles, digging ditches....I wore my Alden's through all that, in all kinds of weather. They can take a beating, I've had them for 6 years or so and they look better now than they eve...

I'm actually ok with the pocket watch more than I am with the wrist watch. I admit it's because of my personal preference not to have anything on my hands like rings or watches. In my job you can lose body parts with that kind of stuff.

I always assumed the gun belt was supposed to be a tad loose, just by the way the holster side is lower than the left side. I could be wrong.

Ok, I just looked at that sword up for auction. That is clearly not the sword Indy used, it's totally different. The Thugee on the bridge used these, not the two guys Indy fought just before the bridge. Indy's sword looks thicker, not as long, and has a straighter blade. http://img192.imagevenue.com...
