Re: Shirt sizing question--need your help, guys!

Thanks everyone for the comments. jedirun, out of curiosity, how is the length on you? I'm wondering if a "small long" will be waaay too long for me (recall I'm a good 6" shorter than you!) I appreciate the input, and hopefully it will help someone else in the future get sized correct...

Oh, I forgot to add one thing---if anyone has ordered either of these shirts, I'd be interested in how long it took for them to arrive. I hear the WPG shirt has to come from the UAE?!?

Hey guys and dolls. I'm in Europe for about 3 months for my studies (supposedly...it amounts to some vacation here, some photography there, and some tomb-raiding interspersed), and of course my AB came along with me. Not much other Indy gear here...--I find a musette bag more practical than the Mk V...

I'm _sure_ this has been answered somewhere, sometime, but rather than going searching, here's my experience: The normal size container (about the size of a big can of tuna) will last you a good long while, but it all depends on how often you use the stuff. If you're okay with ordering online (or if you've got a really great local shoe store that will size/order for you!), check out what Chippewa has to offer. They are indeed fairly good shoes for the price. I bought mine about six months ago and then realized they're nice close-enoughs too! I agree that in theory these bags are "over-engineered" like most military equipment is--the stitching is very strong and the canvas is tough. But sixty years, even in a warehouse, takes its toll. My experience with 'em has been bad; I've had three from WPG and on all three, the cloth that...

Heya, My good ol' AB has recently decided that it needs some time off and so it would prefer to stay on its hook.
