Wow! Very nice indeed. Is this his budget whip? How does it feel in the hand, fairly balanced? It must crack with little effort from the wrist, huh? Looks great! Cheers! :whip: Dan Nope, its not the budget whip. I was originally going to get the IOAB whip but opted for this one instead. The...

Winrich 8 Foot Latigo Bullwhip

A few days ago I received an 8 ft latigo bullwhip I ordered from Winrich Whips. I wanted to get a whip that was somewhat similar in color to the KOTCS whip. I didn't have the money for the screen accurate kangaroo hide so I went with the slightly reddish latigo. Latigo is one of the most durable/str...

So my fedora is more or less SA?

Its just that I have a thin face so the hat looks a little big on me because of the wide brim. Nice to know I won't have to cut the thing up though. Thanks.

Federations with come with the dimensional cut for a long time now actually, so you probably don't need to do that. I actually bought my Federation (regular version, not Fed Deluxe)back in 2007. The brim is very wide. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a dimensional cut. I'll post some pics so you can...

What Price Glory MKVII Bag Strap

I just got a WPG Mark VII repro. and was wondering how to attach the leather strap. I was able to unfasten the bolts on one end and attach it to one of the rings on the bag but I'm having some trouble attaching the end with the buckle. There doesn't seem to be anyway to unfasten the bolts on the end...

I'm kind of scratching my head here. Why are you using Pecards to 'distress' your jacket? It RESTORES the moisture TO your jacket, and therefore reverses the appearance of any distressed leather. It is NOT a product that distresses anything. It's kind of like expecting car wax to weather your car. ...

OK, I finally decided to distress my jacket. So I bought some Pecard leather lotion and applied it to my jacket. I think I followed the application directions correctly: I used a small washcloth and put on a thin layer of the lotion all over. But after about an hour of letting it dry I didn't notice...

I wonder if the Indy 4 jacket will have distinguishing feature that separates it from the other three. I guess it could just end up being a virtual copy of the LC jacket. Can anyone spot anything about the jacket that's different than the LC?

Looking at technonut's US Wings pics, I wonder why his jacket looks so different than mine.

Mine is a US Wings goat skin (non-imported). The color is a lot darker and the sleeves are bigger (even though mine is a size medium).

after my first wested, i've chosen not to distress anything....but if you want advice....go very, very, verrrrrrrry slowly as too much all at once may leave you with something you don't like.
So you would recommend not distressing it? Do you think its unnecessary?

Distressing a US Wings Goatskin

I think I'm going to lightly distress my dark-brown US Wings goatskin jacket. I was wondering exactly what tools I need and where to get them. Where can I get some Pecards dressing? Also, is there anything I should avoid so I don't ruin the thing?
