Thanks for the replies, guys :) . That mussette bag looks like it might do the trick. Throw a leather strap on there (just one less thing to fray) and it would be good to go. I guess my WPG will earn it's place amongst my Indy props display. It is thouroughly weathered. Now, which movie do I display...

In need of a STRONG Indy bag
Hey gang, Like the title says, I'm looking for a tough, strong bag. I've been running with a WPG bag for the last 2 yrs but it's just about comming apart at the seams. It's not that the bag was poorly made, it's just that I really put it through it's paces. I use the bag everyday for carrying my too...

Thanks for the replies, gang :D ! As for the MWH pants, I'm sort of in a bind. I got a late invite to a costume party next weekend, so the sooner I can get a pair of close enoughs, the better (right now, I'm more concerned about color rather than the small details). The future, however, may be diffe...

I usually find that, with MWH anyway, the pants actually don't come cuffed, it's a $26 tailoring job that they tack on later. I'll probably need the pants tailored anyway as they never have my correct inseam. But instead of an outside cuff like I usually get, I guess I'll just tell them no cuff. I a...

men's wearhouse pants - are these close?
Hey gang, I've been in the market for some close enough pants and from what I can see, these look pretty close http://www.menswearhouse.com/menswear/detail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474395560530&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=1408474395560530&bmUID=1161266757438 (does anyone know how to do that ...

Oooh, I'll play too. I carry my bag everyday for work. I carry my tools, folding knife, wallet, change, palm tx, headphones (both cell and palm) and some miscellaneous stuff depending on the day. I've had my bag over 2 years and have never gone to work without it. Who cares if it people think it loo...

With a little bit of elbow grease, the WPG can turn out very nice. Just take a standard folding knife (kind with a half serrated blade) and strip off the weird orange coating. Next take some sandpaper and rough up the entire strap. Then give it a good coating of pecards. Then some brown and black sh...

Re: WPG bag buttons
Anyone have the snaps pop off their WPG bag? One of my snaps came off yesterday. I exopied it back together but I have never even used the bag yet. I'm scared to see what happends with a little abuse. I've used my WPG everyday for the last 2 years, carrying tools and anything else that would fit, a...

When I first got my fed Deluxe a few yrs ago, it was stiff as a board. After a couple of months of just wearing it (getting caught in the rain, snow, heat - you name it) it became as soft as butter. It holds it's shape beautifully and looks as good as the day I bought it. And don't be ashamed to wea...

agent5, you got a PM. Dalexs, I'm sure some light insert could be jerry-built with a few D-cells and a halogen bulb. How about putting a strap on the lighter and using it as a satchel? Cheers, -Relic Raider Yeah, at that point, it's called a maglite. Stick 2 or 3 of those 2 AA sized lights i...

Thank you very much, everyone. Unfortunately, my wallet belongs to the RPF . For the WPG bag, I waited until it was raining, then stomped it in some mud. Then I balled it up and secured it with some rubberbands. Once it was completely dry, I beat it against a bick wall (the one behind it in the...

New guy just posting his gear
Hey gang, Long time lurker, first time poster, though I do know a lot of you from the RPF. I guess I'll introduce myself. My name is Fred, I'm 31, from New York and I'm a telecommunications analyst and network/fiber optic tech (i.e. cable monkey). Here's a pic of most of my gear. An EC Whips 10 foot...
