Re: Considering a whip on my walks - almost dog attacked 3x

To all the people worried about the legal issues of using a whip to defend yourself against dogs or people... Legal issues are irrelevant. You use what you have. It's ALWAYS better to be answering a few questions than horribly injured or dead. Always. I started using a whip when I was 11 years old. ...

Re: Custom Wested Raiders - too tight

That's good to know about tearing the sleeve liner with your watch. What type of liner is in your sleeves? Is it the silk stuff or the cotton? I always go for full cotton in my Indy jackets. This is because I also got a replica German U-Boat officer's jacket from Wested. They call it the Dr. Who jac...

Re: Custom Wested Raiders - too tight

Wow. I just had a similar experience with Wested. I ordered a LC custom jacket in goat and measured myself very carefully. My wife double checked the measurements. When I got my jacket, it was way too tight across the chest when zipped up and it was too short especially in front. Because they charge...

Well, so far I haven't aquired many of the smaller items like the web belt and gun belt. But the bag strap is easy to make on your own if you're a crafty sort of person or know someone who is. I just got a big piece of cow hide and measured and cut straps out of that. Then dyed them the right shade ...

I have the feeling that the guys who make those Airsoft guns are making a big mistake. If only they would make one of all the "Indy" guns, including the Webley MkVI, their profits would nearly double! But they'd need to make an airsoft Bazooka, just for good measure! 8)

Congrats on getting your first whip! I started cracking was 13 years old (i'm 25 now) with a 4 plait mexican thing that I got for $15. I remember thinking how cool I was... #-o I slowly progressed from using things that really don't deserve the label of "whip" to the finest 8 plait mexican...

I suppose that it may be possible that some of the whips in Raiders could've been made of something other than roo hide. However, There is no other leather besides roo which when made into a whip of that design which could support a man's weight. Cow hide simply can't do it. Now it is possible that ...

Personally I hate the Beretta 92F 9mm. I own one myself which I keep around only because it's an old Italian made one and you can't get those anymore. I shoot it once in a while, but I can't hit anything with it. Maybe it's just me, but my Webley revolvers are more accurate (in my hands...) than the...

If you want a Webley to collect and shoot, good luck finding a MkVI that has not been cut to .45ACP. They can be found, but with a price of $400-$650. The only company producing .455 Webley ammo is Fiocci. I have to order mine, as I can't find it in any local gun shop. Personally I don't like webley...
