That makes sense. I grew up out west and I never acclimated to the humidity after I moved to Florida. I'm a westerner to my bones. At least now I too can wear my hat daily!

I wear my fedora everyday. Wore it to legoland yesterday. Got a few compliments on it too. I think it helped improve my lazer gun skills as well. I lived in Florida on the Gulf coast for almost exactly a year, and not once was the humidity or the temps low enough to wear a beaver felt fedora. How d...

I would imagine as a hat maker it would be difficult to intentionally distress one's own work, especially if you are a perfectionist like I understand John to be.

Okay, so what's the deal with Todds Costumes being out of stock on most sizes of the Indy pants? I've been checking in regularly for about a year now and they're always out of stock of the trousers in most of the sizes.

I've done business with both John and Steve. I'd say go with Penman and don't look back. John is a true professional all the way, service is excellent (he returns emails and phone calls promptly), and the product you receive is absolute perfection.

I've also noticed it helps to have a long oval shaped head, such as Ford has. If your head is more round, etc it's harder to obtain. Just wear them. Problem solved. They become accurate to you ;) But really, since the 4th film was released the current color became screen accurate....so whats the problem? That way, you can return or exchange it for another size if it doesn't fit. Once you wash it, you can't return most clothing. Leather jackets are often quoted as a pit to pit measure. The sleeve is probably a shoulder seam to cuff measure too. Didn't the figures have a diagram to refer to?? P.S. The "B" measurement is also odd: 29" for a sleeve length? I wear a 34-35 in all my XL shirts. Something is definitely being lost in translation.

I went ahead and ordered an XL with some trepidation. Will give a full report when it arrives.

25.5 is measured pit to pit it would give 51". Or had you already taken that into account?? I'm not sure what you're saying. If AB states the Chest measurement as 25.5 isn't that the circumference? If it's a flat measurement that would make more sense I suppose. It's still a bit unorthodox sin...
