I wear my fedora everyday. Wore it to legoland yesterday. Got a few compliments on it too. I think it helped improve my lazer gun skills as well. I would imagine as a hat maker it would be difficult to intentionally distress one's own work, especially if you are a perfectionist like I understand John to be.

I've also noticed it helps to have a long oval shaped head, such as Ford has. If your head is more round, etc it's harder to obtain. That way, you can return or exchange it for another size if it doesn't fit. Once you wash it, you can't return most clothing. P.S. The "B" measurement is also odd: 29" for a sleeve length? I wear a 34-35 in all my XL shirts. Something is definitely being lost in translation.
