I've ordered at least 3 times from HatsDirect, maybe 4. All came within
5 working days and I did not pay any customs fees. Mailman drove it right to my door. I had to go out to his car and get it, though.

Looks super to me. I definitely agree you didn't need the extra inch. Once the sleeves start to wrinkle up a bit, they'll be absolutely perfect! Looks good on you. !

Gosh, I hardly see anything at all. I certainly wouldn't worry about that. I wish my jackets would age a little quicker. My Wings cowhide has the best natural distressing, especially on the ends and high points. My Wings lamb, which has the antiquing finish, is also getting much lighter on the seams...

Boy, that's a GREAT looking jacket, TR. Looks like it's already been on numerous adventures. I've been wearing my Wings VIP and lamb, since its gotten colder. I do like 'em both. Kinda wish my VIP would "age"a little more, but naturally.

Well, I'll accept Nadoolman's answer that no gray/grey hats were used. But I agree with Feraud, it looks gray to me, even more so when playing the dvd on my newer tv. All the colors are better. Even Ford's blue suit looks richer and more blue (it is blue, isn't it? 8-[)

The overall tone of the picture. It has a soft and misty quality to it, yet still sharp showing detail. Also looks a little vignetted on the edges. What filter did you use?

Yep, the large looks just like my large. Very nice color, very unique. It
is softening nicely and the grain of the leather has a wonderful feel.

I have 2 Indys from Wings, a VIP cowhide and a New Zealand lamb, and an A-2 in goat. All fine jackets, all different in the look and feel of the leather. The only "issue" I had with the VIP was that the sleeve lining protruded from the end of the sleeve and needed to be tacked further up. ...

I don't know if your hat is tapered or not and if that is one of the reasons you are going this route, but I would try folding strips of paper towel or foam and placing them under the sweatband. If that doesn't make your hat fit, then go
for a more drastic solution.

It seems that if FS were to alter their patterns and add 1 inch to all their sleeve lengths, they may have the perfect jacket.
Short sleeves seems to be the one area that is a constant issue.
