I don't want to put a damper on this but..I think that is remake new bag in the photo. The leather (if it is leather not vinyl) is much thiner. This was gone over in this post long ago. There are LOTS of the new remakes out there. Check amazon.de etc. Again look for links in earlier posts. I do hope...

I really don't understand WHY people want a reproduction bag?? I mean this in the nicest way but why buy a fake (replica) when you can just buy an original? I mean it's not like they make them any more get 'em while you can... It is the true piece of gear, exact in every way. No they don't wear out....

hmm..
I love my original MkVII. I am a Collage professor and have used mine everyday for about 5 years.
The bag itself has no more wear then could be expected. The webbing that holds the metal ring is just now starting to fray but a few quick stitches and its fine again.

Guys I have seen Indy 3 about 40 times (don't ask) we have the right backpack. The swiss M-35 looks like this. http://www.armynavydeals.com/asp/products_details.asp?SKU=bbgswed01&ST=2 And this is totally wrong. it has a frame, no straps over the top, wrong color and NO lining/leather on the bott...

Yea for all those on the lists please read this...
This is as I thought these are leather made by a different factory (like the MK VII bags) or newer repo's. I do think that the straps will need to be changed to be accurate. This leads me to believe that this is what the Indy 4 people did. As the leather is different from even Indiana Scones bag. Th...

there seems to be a variant in the bag. I would guess just as the MK VII bag more then one place manufactured these. Which one is the "correct" one?? i have no idea :) http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2381/2536163463_9555981b29_o.jpg 1 One of the bags has studs here the other doesn't 2 The l...

I got the ammo with the gun, its got half-moon clips in it I was told it was issued to servicemen. There is a cloth strip on the top to rip it open fast.
It was a Glock 17 9mm.

Yes it is!...Nice! Actually the best part is that is an original SAA. from about 1894 and those are the original grips I bought it with. I have a few other Colt SAA but I like the pearl (though I do have ivory as well) it shows off well in photos!

That is of course correct Sir GOOD eye!
Yep a Smith and Wesson 'Victory' model. The Lady who sold said it was her Dad’s who was a pilot in the War, (she is very, very good friends with my uncle) so this is of course why I got a good deal. But since I got a real one for the price of the Airsoft ones AND since we can carry guns legally here...

That brings up another question, about paring. it makes since and i see it working when i pare the flesh side. But when I pare opposite sides it seems that you can see that cut edge. No I’m not cutting too big it’s like thread thin. It seems that it just helps slide the plats in to place but seems j...

Whip leather...
OK so I started to cut out some more strips of leather and the cheep stuff I got (cowhide) stretched a lot but only against the grain of the leather. So the strips get thinner at points, this of course is bad.
Is this solved by stretching the heck out of it before I cut it?

Todd’s holster Self made (pics)
As I was ordering the holster from Todd I thought well if the rivets are what can scratch the gun why not just stitch it up myself? I was at Dllards today and found this shirt it's Roundtree and York good quality...very close and the sleeves have this cool roll up tab you can button. it just would need the sholder loops and the breast fabric.
