Real McCoys A-2 Dubow USAAF
This is a 1940's inspired Dubow A-2 as worn by crew members of the USAAF and is made by RMNZ (Real McCoy New Zealand). In a brown seal overspray onto a tan base, the base is starting to come through on areas of wear to make this a nice looking vintagesque jacket harkening back to the 40's. Made in H...

It's a movie..
Harrison is probably no more into the IJ movie as Sean Connery was into James Bond. It's a make believe role that as an actor Harrison enters into for the time required on set to make the movie and make the big bucks. And in that vein, the clothing is 'make believe' too. I don't think they were ever...

Indiana Jones hat = issues
You just have to wear an IJ hat to get the smart comments in the street. So a Rocketeer jacket will be a prime target to the average Joe in the street. Often it's the pot calling the kettle black, when you get these remarks from folk who look like bums with their heads covered up with baseball caps ...

The Floungers in here have probably seen this, but if not, it's the Aero Barnstormer in FQHH. Hasten to add it was taken last summer, so maybe George was watching for tips in the bushes!!

Marc's AB AVIATOR. Inspired by the Golden Age of flight and aviator/movie mogal/ adventurer/ entrepreneur...Howard Hughes. If the 1940's could be captured in a jar, then this would be the beaver felt jar!

The diversity of this man...
Excuse me for interrupting here gents, Paddy here from TFL. But I had no idea this lovely hat had been posted in TFL, so I really must check it out again! :) Most of the talk quite rightly is revolving around the latest IJ movie hat. But I hope that you will all appreciate the diversity in talent of...

Some AVIATOR LID pics of Marc's wonderful tribute hat!
Hey Marc, I wish you and your wife a great wedding. Weddings are the best. Nice aviator lid. I found some pics of the real Hughes with his lid and the one you made is dead on. Nice job. http://www.airfields-freeman.com/CA/HK-1_cockpit_HowardHughes.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a248/castlebr...

Posh Ulster Accents...!!
Time to work on my acting skills. Can a Northern Irish accent ever sound posh? ;) Ken Ken, of course they are! Norn Iron is God's own country don't you know! I have two school friends who are both house masters at Eton College. Peter taught Prince William and Harry maths! Never noticed how the futu...

Henry the Hatter vintage hat, judge the pics for yourself...
All feedback welcomed. Looks like a cross between "Last Man Standing" and "The Untouchables!" Lovely hat, the felt is smooth, tight and untouched, with a reassuring stiffness that I like (not floppy!). Doesn't look as if it has ever been worn. I like the colour, the ribbon...etc,...

What a lovely gesture :-)
What a "REALLY" nice thing for someone to do and quite a bit of thought has gone into it too
)
Bet you know what my kids would say, if they saw it, "Oh...Pooooh!" lol.
Now, keep it under your hat

Info and feedback on "Henry the Hatter" fedoras pl
I have just won a Vintage Fedora in Charcoal Grey (2" black ribbon) by "Henry the Hatter." It is XX Beaver apparently. Can anyone give me feedback on the quality of these hats, is it likely to be vintage (as that is such an abused word these days)...? And how are they generally rated ...
