Thanks for all the responses guys. I may consider the goat from Wings. I definitely want another lambskin Wested, but I got a G-1 for Christmas and am quickly becoming a goat hide fan. That short sleeves are no problem as I have short arms anyway. I have a Wings goat A-2 on its way to me now. I'll s...

US Wings Indy Jacket
I'm just wondering what you guys thought of this one. I'll be in the market for a new Indy jacket soon and am exploring all options. I'm not interested in minute detail screen accuracy (it looks fine as far as I'm concerned), but how does it feel and is it well made? Thanks a bunch.

Re: I can't let it go!
[quote="The real Henry"]So is it possibly to send it to Peter to let be changed or do I have to say Good by to it? I just wrote to Wested inquiring about haveing some of the newer features incorporated into my old jacket. I was told, with the exception of replacing the lining, that o...

PB Borsalino Michaelson pics please
I am expecting one of these hats soon. I love the way this one looks on the PB website, but I was hoping some of you might have some of your own pictures. Thanks a ton.

Refurbishing a Wested
I was just wondering if anyone has had repair or modification work done to their jackets. Particularly if you've had the newer modifications done to older jackets, such as the revised action pleats and leather facings on the collar and zipper. I just emailed for a quote to have the lining replaced a...

Other Wested Styles?
I was curious if anyone owned any of the other Wested jackets. I am particularly interested in the A-2. Please post pics if available.
Many thanks

Stearman leather vest?
Can anyone suggest a place to get a Stearman vest? I've seen Avirex's vest and was wondering if there was a place I might get a better price. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the replies. And thanks for the pics Swindiana. It is indeed the WPG bag. Just to clarify, this was my first bag, but not piece of gear. Let's just say I am returning after a hiatus of a few years. The DVD's set off the spark. Iwas lucky enough to see Raiders when it was first released in...

Todd's Costume Bag Comments
Note: If this looks familiar, I am reposting this as I accidentally put it in Classifieds before. I recently purchased the Indy shoulder bag that is reproduced by Todd's Costumes (http://www.toddscostumes.com/indy/indiana_jones_bag.htm) and thought you gus might be interested in comments about it. T...

Well, personal preference will rule the day here. I just thought I'd show a way to those who were interested. As I said before, the look and shape of my jacket improved enormously. The upper part of the pleat is still open to allow room for movement. Take it for what it's worth. I'm off to pursue ot...

Well, I'm not exactly Mr. GQ myself, but I love the sleeker look of the jacket (I need all the help I can get). I am even considering taking the jacket the local leather shop and having them throw a couple of stitches in alonf the seam. The upper pleat still open, but they will close back up when st...

Doctoring the Wested pleats
Probably the most common frustration we Wested owners have is the way the back pleats hang open, giving an otherwise nice jacket a sloppy appearance. I went into a crafts store the other day and found some stuff called Peek n Stick. It is a thin, double sided adhesive that scrapbookers use for apply...
