Re: Wested boots?
Ordered me a pair earlier this week. Got the discount for it but afterwards. I couldn't figure out how to log into my wested account. Thought I was too fast when I made the purchase but maybe others had that issue aswell. So I paid the full price but after mailing them got the refund of the discoun...

Re: New Herbert Johnson!
This is an interesting thread! I also just received my new HJ Poet done on the 5.25" block by Jack as well. I had requested that he try to keep the front pinch to 4.5" max, so I was a bit disheartened to find it arrived at well over 5" at the pinch! It was sooo tall! It took a bit of ...

Re: The Perfect Height for a Raiders Hat.
Fedoraiders, your hats always look so great! Any tips on how you create that nice center crease with such flat sides like that? Do you use an iron, etc? Looks so nice!

Re: Magnoli Mk VII snaps
Thanks very much for checking! I really appreciate knowing it's not just a fluke. And for what it's worth, I love the overall construction-- it really is top-notch and a definite step up from every other Mk VII I've had. The same goes for the strap as well. It's really great! After seeing this post,...

Re: Magnoli Mk VII snaps
Received the replacement and I hate to say it, but it had the same issue-- perhaps by a bit further to be honest, but I'm happy to have a free replacement. I hope the issue will be corrected down the road... I'd love to have one with aligned snaps!

Final word from Wested... dry clean only.Spudomatic wrote:I emailed 'em... still waiting for a reply.Cajunkraut wrote:Wool pants are generally dry clean only.
You might be able to hand wash them in cold water with Woolite and let 'em dry flat. I would reach out to Wested for an official answer first though.

Wested Indy pants care
Recently picked up a pair of Wested Indy pants, and there are no care instructions. Does anyone know if they are machine washable, dry clean only, etc?

Re: Distrtessing/Color-Correcting Indygear Photo Comparisons
Thanks Michaelson. I used the methods years ago on an FS jacket and it turned out nice, but I'm not going to try it on my Wested unless I can find a step-by-step tutorial, and even then I won't rush into anything. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback and will keep looking around. Very best, Tim Tim, d...

Re: Magnoli Mk VII snaps
I realized it might not be clear what I meant in my first pics, so here's one more to illustrate the alignment issue with the snaps. They can close, but with the bag loaded up, it's very difficult.

Re: Magnoli Mk VII snaps
Spud, Welcome to the forum, and sorry to hear that you're not happy with your bag. This might be a first. Why don't you reach out to Magnoli directly with your concerns and keep us updated. You can email him at sales@magnoliclothiers.com or find him in the Vendor Announcements section. :TOH: Thanks...

Magnoli Mk VII snaps
Hi all, I just received my new Magnoli MkVII satchel and strap. I'd previously only had a WPG repro which is nice in its own ways. I'd say the Magnoli's fabric and overall construction is much more substantial and the strap itself is a far cry better on many counts. That being said, I couldn't help ...

Re: Predistressed Yes or No?
Hello all, I'm a first time poster here but a long time lurker. I thought I'd share these pics of my pre-distressed hide Raiders from Wested. I'm not happy with the color... very, very light for my taste. The photos don't even show how truly light it is. It'd say it's pretty much tan. Lighter in col...
