Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Today was 3 years, four months and 13 days for me (Nov 3, 2007). I sent an e-mail, but don't expect to hear anything back. I try not to think about it too much, and its successful for a time, but when I do, I can't believe how much time has passed. The December 7, 2007 order above makes me nervous a...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
In 11 days (Nov 3, 2010) It will be 3 years since I've ordered my Adventurebilt hat. I last heard from Steve on March 8, 2010, and he said my order was still intact, yet four months earlier (Dec, 09), he said my order was within eyesight. Its funny how some hats ordered in 2008* have been delivered ...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Just curious about the magical Nov 07 orders, and see that others here are still waiting for theirs. My order invoice reads November 3, 2007, and last I heard from Steve was March 3rd 2010 saying that he was still on Nov orders. I'll keep checking in from time to time to see what progress is being m...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Hello there, just keeping you all updated. Its been three months since I last posted, and I still haven't got my November 3, 2007 ordered hat yet. I haven't heard anything from Steve since December 5 ( over a month ago), but it could be any month now

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
I emailed Steve a few weeks ago, and He replied saying my name was coming up. I ordered mine November 3, 2007, so considering this has been my first reply from him in almost two years, It shouldn't be too much longer.

I've got a 99 Wested, and when my brother got his New Wested two years ago it was clear to see how much improved the Wested has become. I wear my Wested to work (it has gotten naturally distressed very well working in a wood shop). I now wear the Todd's standard the other times, but a new Wested may...

Those do look very good, with the exception of minor details like, shoe strings, soles having traction, seam in the toe, the heel not being so pronounced, and the lack of a few stitch lines these Rockports look like an exceptional alternative(you could on the next resole get smooth soles put on to ma...

Is the ribbon black or Dark brown?...
Hi all, This may and probably has been covered before. I've been looking at old and new photos from the past movies, and the present movie in the making (though the present movie has very little photos to go by). I've also done some research on Indygear, and have noticed that in some pictures the ha...

How to dry clean Wested wool pants ... yourself.
Hello, This might have been posted in the past, but if not here it is. Dryel is an excellent at home dry cleaning system. The cost is low, it can be used for up to 16 garments (four for each load),and you can dry clean without the harsh chemicals, which some have an allergic reaction to, that they us...

ITG posted this a while ago. The link inside has a black pair of Amish boots that are as close to Aldens as I've seen. K Could those if fact be Alden's just without the name (due to the fact that the Amish wouldn't want the label in the shoe, it would also make them cheaper...generic version) It wou...

My Brothers great Alden deal...
Hi, I've had my Alden's now for six years, and they've just gone through their second resole and heel job, yet the tops still look great. I purchased mine when they were still $179, which brings me to the core of this post. My brother, three weeks ago, delivered business cards to a shoe cobbler, and...

There was as you might know at one time a Lucasfilm fanclub, which is now The Star Wars fan club, but not aware of an Indiana jones fan club. A 2.99 toy gun converted S&W finished new pics
I hope this is in the right spot, considering it can also be put in the props section. I wanted to replicate as closely as I could Indy's S&W from Raiders using a cheap toy gun. I found the following gun (12" Magnum Clicker Gun) at http://www.costumesinc.com/c119_g381/secret_agent_gun_detec...

Here are some pics of my gear and collectables
Now that there is a digital camera in the house, I can finally show some of my gear. In order of their purchases (6years ago to the present) Wested Raiders lambskin, Alden 405's, Mark VII gas mask bag (which was used for art supplies by a previous owner), Lee Keplar raiders gunbelt with holster, Acu...

I have never cracked a roo hide bullwhip (but want to at some point). So I can't say. All I know is that it is their best cowhide bullwhip, from what they say. I am not sure who makes it, the tag says on one side BRAIDED COW HIDE, Handcrafted in Whip-Tanned Cowhide and on the other; Plait:8 Length:8...

My "indy look" 8 plait cowhide whip from WSP
I hope this works, my first time posting pics. I just received from Western Stage Props the 8' cowhide (8 plait) whip. Before I invested money in a more expensive whip I thought I'd try this one out, it cracked rather well after a few initial tries. S William http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f323/f...

My goodness am I glad Aldens are built like tanks
Hey, I haven't posted for a while, and I haven't seen prices on the 405's until recently, and my oh my Aldens have gone up higher than I'd ever imagine over the past four years! I bought mine brand new four years ago for $175, whats this $100 price jump $280 ( I know it's happened gradually roughly ...

Five years of owning a Wested Raiders!
Hello everyone, its been a while since I've posted. I realized that I've had my jacket now for five years, and it has worn in nicely. My jacket seems to be worn more towards the bottom front and the end of the sleeves. There are small scratches on the shoulder, upper arms, and back, pretty well worn...

Alden shoes restoration procedure, is it worth it?
My Aldens are going to be three years old this February, and I've had them reheeled once, but the soles are almost at the crucial point of no return, but not there yet. My local shoe repair place is now out of business, so has anyone had the restoration service done before, and if so, should I go th...
