When you don’t need to draw your weapon…

It seems the “Timeless Heroes” documentary has given us another Gear tidbit to ponder.

Possibly since Indy wasn’t meant to use his whip much in the movie, it was more an identifying costume piece as opposed to a necessary side arm, and the whip holder used was non-functional. It’s attached with a snap behind the web belt and tightened down around the whip to avoid slippage with metal rings.
