We are sad to report that we’ve lost another friend of our IndyGear community. From being a gearhead back in the old IndyFan days, to the hatter of the fourth Indiana Jones installment, Steve Delk passed on October 4, 2023. Steve took his skillset from woodworking and switched over to hat making. First offering to reblock hats, and studying an early example of a Herbert Johnson lid, he built up his techniques and eventually became the hatter for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. As the years went on and his health began to fade, he had to give up his hatmaking business and the demands it made for him. He was missed, but not forgotten. Just as it is now. Rest well, friend.
