It’s something that gear heads have puzzled over since Raiders debuted has been the Browning Hi-Power that Indy uses in the Raven bar, switching between it and his revolver. Where did he get it? Was it a continuity error? Was it picked up from a felled henchmen? A stagehand?

Thanks to the new Disney+ documentary, “Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones and Harrison Ford,” we know know that Indy carried the Browning with him in a shoulder holster! Seen in these behind the scenes stills from the documentary, you can see the shoulder strap with a holster that attaches to his belt. If the Browning HP is one Indy regularly carries as a back up, it would also explain why he has it again on the Bantu Wind.
