Found a Style of Holster

Post by Andiana »

I found another style of holster here -
http://www.buffaloarms.com/browse.cfm/4,2007.html

Now I'm not a holster expert, but for only like $17, this looks pretty good to me (and the price looks good to my parents, whom are incharge of my birthday presents....)

What do ya guys think?

It's the right style for the price. If you were planning to put a S&W in there, it may not work. The angle of the handle is different on those old pistols than it is on the 1917s.

Just my observations,

It accomodates up to 8 inch barrels. That thing would hang down past your kneecap.

If you know someone who works with leather, they could probably alter it for you.

Just a thought,

I think you meant 6 inch barrel. If it was a 6 foot barrel, it would probably be taller that you are.

It's eaither that, or it could be used as a melee weapon.

Yeah, but it shoots straighter than your average revolver!

Disclaimer: Hey Indy148, this post isn't meant to make fun of you, I just think that the concept of a 6' barrel is hilarious. No offense meant, if any is taken.
Wow.... a 6' long barrel. Besides turn signals (rofl) it might need a wristloop and a good coating of Pecards every now and then.

"I just got my new David Morgan S&W 6'!"

You could probably use that thing for some track and field events, too... and it would make for a great limbo game, I'm sure. But it brings new meaning to firing point blank.

Come to think of it... how would you draw that out of a holster? lol

Sorry 148, we've been having too much fun due to your slip of the foo...er tongue. I hope we haven't gotten you to upset because there is one thing very important to consider.

If we didn't like you we wouldn't pick on you.

okay everyone reading: put your left hand on your keyboard and repeat after me saying your name where I say mine:

I, Jason, promise...

not to pick on indy 148...

over the length of the barrel...

or lack thereof...

of his pistol...

for the next fifteen minutes.

okay indy 148, that should do it ;)

Remember in writing words can sound much more harsh than they were meant to be. I often have to ready the statements 2 times to catch the post in context.

Just a tip.

Ah, fortunately I took this into consideration and typed up a small disclaimer. But Indy148 is a smart guy, he knows I was just kidding. I think he might be having fun too... but that is a good tip, Pyro.

Indy148,

Since I started this whole mess, I just wanted you to know that I am an equal opportunity bully, I pick on everybody. By the way, where is Bink and Dr. Evil. I know they're around here somewhere.

Well, I've been busier than an action hero chasing a Nazi tank on horse the past week or so. Besides, Bufflehead, I figure you could use the practice, so I'm backing off a little until my work load eases a bit.

Besides, you're not complaining about barrel envy, are you?

Indeed. Picking on you only means we are jealous of you, and your 6 foot revolver. 8)

Cheers buddy!
