Possible new Indy Shirt?

Post by Fedora jr. »

Hello all. My church has a youth orginazation called Pathfinders. Every month we get to put on goofy little uniforms and run around like were cool. Anywhoo, the shirt is pretty Indy accurate. It has epaulets and two front pockets, but no pleats. I'm also not sure how accurate the color is, but it looks good to me. I have to wear mine with my uniform one last time in an event to Wisconson, but after that I'm going to rip off the patches, and use it as an Indy shirt.

Since I don't know how to post links, here is the sight where you can buy them.

If that dosen't work, go to adventsource.org, and click on pathfinder uniforms. When you get to that page, stay on the top of the page and click men's or women's uniforms. The shirt should be right there after you do that. Sorry about all the cheesy patches on it though.

Hey, another SDA... :D
I was a Pathfinder when I was a kid. I think it's probably better organised in the US though.
These shirts are more khaki aren't they?

COOL!!! I had no idea that there would be more SDA's on this board. Yeah they are more khaki, but turn whitish with more wear in the sun, so the camporee in Osh Kosh should do it some good.

Geoff
The 2nd SDA on this board. I'm so happy I'm not the only one

The shirts are the only good thing about the uniform dude. That and those cool berets. I tried to get them to change to Fedora's, but I don't think anyone was listening

Yeah! Go SDA! I used to be a pathfinder for a short time, so I may be able to scrounge up a shirt. I'm still SDA though.

Hello all. After watching Raiders this weekend, and comparing my long sleeve and short sleeve shirts, the color is pretty accurate. It is a very light khaki, just like in Raiders.

Great find. Look pretty good.

Does anyone have a pic of this shirt without patches? Also, what is the weight like?

The best part of the deal is how close the shirt looks, and how easy it would be to modify. The same site has khaki shirt matterial available by the yd. You could tack on the pleats easily. What a great alternative, and a bargain at about $40 including shipping.

I don't have any pictures of the shirt without the patches, but my friend usually wears one without patches over a short sleeve shirt, and it looks pretty good.

The weight I think is just right. It isn't to heavy for summer, but it isn't too light for winter. I think it's a great shirt.
