Just ordered my first pair of Aldens!

Just placed an order for a pair of 10EEEs through shoecentral.com at $239 shipped! Yes I have big ol' wide feet...

I was reasearching Aldens in the old posts and found one about shoecentral, their website does not list Aldens anymore but I called and spoke to Jim, gave him my size and he said he'd check availability and call me back. Not five minutes later he called with the price and took my order over the phone. Can't wait!

I did have my podiatrist write a letter recommending a "high top orthopedic boot", and asked that they mark the invoice as "per doctor's prescription" so my flex health insurance might even reimburse me for them.

If not, it's still a great deal!

I have ordered 3 pair of Aldens (not all 405s) through Shoecentral.com and they are great.

PS- Remember...the break-in period may be sorta painful.

Yea. It's not going to, either. By request of Alden, I believe. You have to call or email them. They have been friendly to me when I called.
