New Jacket Recommendations?

Post by Henri_Defense »

Hey folks,

I've been wearing a WhatPriceGlory jacket for a little while and am thinking of upgrading to a different jacket. My original go-to was going to be Wested, but after hearing (and seeing) that they usually weather greyish over brown, I'm not quite so sure. I'd like this jacket to be something that distresses brown naturally, and not a dye that'd have to be applied after the fact. I looked at S&J as well, but it seems that all of their stuff is pre-distressed, which isn't really what I'm looking for.

So, long story short, I'm looking for a jacket that isn't pre-distressed or weathered & won't fall to pieces if I get thrown out of a windshield (and dragged behind a truck).

Thanks for your insights!

I have jacket from Steele and Jones and can personally say that this is the most screen accurate jacket you will get. And they indeed ask you if you want jacket to be clean, distressed or partially distressed. Their wait time for jacket is long because each jacket is made for each individual, but worth the wait.

I concur, S&J all the way.
And worth the wait.
My DoD is my go to favorite.

In the process of getting a Steele and Jones jacket right now (literally just made a payment) and getting mine clean since I want mine to show the things I've gone through. Ordered mine in December and looking to get it in October (estimated). good luck with whatever you choose.
